Magnesium is absolutely vital to good health. In the body it's the 4th most abundant mineral. It is involved in about 300 reactions in the body. Low levels of magnesium can cause all kinds of health problems, one being insomnia, anxiety and restless leg syndrome. As we age our ability to absorb magnesium through the gut decreases and the need for this mineral increases (thanks kidneys!) Magnesium helps to improve the function of our cells and decreases inflammation. Applying magnesium "transdermally" or directly on the skin which allows it to be absorbed right into our cells is one of the most efficient ways to get it into your body. Its great at helping get relief from stress, sleeping issues, anxiety, muscle pain and cramping and arthritic pain. It can also be used to boost energy and endurance!
